As art director/designer since the company’s inception, I’ve shaped the look of this award-winning multicultural children’s book publisher, guiding many first time picture book artists into successful careers.

I reviewed, selected, directed illustrators, mapmakers, and calligraphers; supervised assistants and freelancers; designed the complete list including picture books, chapter books, non-fiction photographic books and novels. I worked closely with editorial, marketing, and production. I supervised full color, halftone and duotone press runs.
